Pricing and Adoption Information
At Size Matters MC Cattery, every kitten is raised with hands-on care, daily socialization, and a strong focus on health, temperament, and breed quality. Our goal is to provide families with healthy, confident Maine Coons that are ready to become lifelong companions.
Kitten Pricing
Pet-quality Maine Coon kittens are $2,500.
Pricing does not vary based on:
Gender
Color
Polydactyl traits
We believe every kitten deserves the same level of love, care, and value.
Reservation Deposit
A non-refundable $500 deposit is required to reserve your kitten. Deposits are applied toward the total purchase price.
Families are contacted in the order deposits are received. Once your kitten is selected, we will provide updates and confirm an estimated go-home date.
Go-Home Information
Kittens are typically ready for their new homes around 12 weeks of age after:
Veterinary examination
Age-appropriate FVRCP vaccinations
Health monitoring and socialization
Each kitten goes home with:
TICA registration
Veterinary records
Microchip
30 days of complimentary Trupanion pet insurance
New owners are responsible for completing final kitten vaccines, including the last FVRCP booster and rabies vaccination at approximately 16 weeks of age. Spay/neuter can be performed prior to your kitten going home at an additional cost. Otherwise, you MUST spay/neuter at 6 months of age as agreed on in the Kitten Contract.
Raising Our Kittens
Our kittens are raised inside our home with constant interaction, exposure to everyday household activity including dogs, and lots of attention. We focus heavily on socialization so your kitten arrives confident, affectionate, and well-adjusted.
Because we prioritize quality care over quantity, we do not overbreed our queens and we invest significant time into every litter we raise.
Photo & Update Policy
We love sharing updates and photos of our kittens as they grow. While we frequently send pictures and post updates, they are shared at our discretion rather than on a fixed schedule.
Pickup Policy
Once notified that your kitten is ready, pickup must be arranged within two weeks unless prior arrangements have been approved.
Extended care beyond that timeframe may incur a $50 per week boarding fee.
